Thanks to the internet you can now take a free online photography course from Harvard University totally free! The course is called "Exposing Digital Photography" and it was originally offered in 2015 at Harvard’s Extension School.

It is consist of thirteen learning modules and is available for free to anyone looking to improve their photography skills. The modules cover everything from scientific basis of photography to topics that include light, depth of field, exposure, composition,  aesthetics, perspective, the human visual system, colors, spatial perception, digital sensors, optics, color filters, analogies to biological systems, file formats, optical and computational image artifacts, and software and techniques forediting and enhancement.
