Model Release – Stock Photography Ep. 22
Model release is a document signed by a model, that gives you a permission to offer the image with that model under commercial license. Whenever the person on a photo can be identified by other people, even if it's only a body part visible, you will need to submit a signed model release along with the photo, if you want to offer that photo under commercial license.
If you can't obtain this document, your only choice is to offer the image under editorial license.
